Yoga is a wonderful way to reduce stress and relax. For the busy college students it is important to take a moment to take care of both mental and physical wellness. Here at CCSU, the C.J. Huang Recreation Center provides students with the opportunity to participate in FREE yoga classes that are held on campus with a certified yoga instructor! As a CCSU student, you have access to several classes that are hosted at the Rec Center. All you need to do to attend a class is register at the following link myrec.ccsu.edu. The yoga courses that are offered are designed for all experience levels, and promote flexibility, alignment and breathwork as a way to improve health.
If you can’t find time in your schedule, no worries! The Rec Center has also teamed up with the NIRSA to provide students with additional opportunities to practice physical fitness on their own time.
