OUR AWARDS

2016 - Model Chapter Award presented to our Psi Chi chapter.

​

2016 - Eastern Regional Chapter Award and commemorative plaque were presented to our Psi Chi Chapter.

​

2016 - Our member, Sam Bradley, received a Psi Chi Undergraduate Research Grant for her research on "Dispositional and Induced Anxiety and Olfactory Sensitivity". 

​

2016 - Our member, Aliza Lipman, was presented with a Regional Research Award to recognize her outstanding research at the Eastern Psychological Association conference.

​

2015 - Model Chapter Award presented to our Psi Chi chapter.

​

2015 - Kay Wilson Presidential Leadership Award presented to our 2014-2015 President, Judah Butler, for outstanding leadership and service to our Psi Chi chapter. Only one Psi Chi president is selected for this award annually. 

​

2015 - Regional Research Awards were presented to five of our members to recognize their outstanding research at the Eastern Psychological Association conference. Only 16 researchers are selected for this award annually, making our student researchers a recipient of about 1/3 of the awards.

Our History

Psi Chi at CCSU has been developing over the past six years. This year we plan on developing into a strong and active cohesive unit that makes positive changes in the Psychological Sciences Department. 

Our Philosophy

We believe in helping psychology students reach their full potential. We at Psi Chi feel that everyone has skills and abilities that can be used to help the individual, others, and the greater community to make the world a better place.
